Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

SciRobotics Ltd. wants everyone to be able to use scirobotics.com, including people with disabilities. We work to make the site meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

The site has not yet had a formal accessibility audit, so we do not claim full conformance. We are fixing the problems we find as we find them.

What the site offers

  • A toolbar at the top right of every page for increasing text size and switching to a high-contrast view.
  • A “Skip to main content” link for keyboard and screen reader users.
  • A consistent heading structure, with one main heading on each page.
  • Descriptive text alternatives for informative images, and descriptive names for links and buttons.
  • Labelled fields on the contact form.
  • A layout that adapts to phones and tablets and works when the page is zoomed.
  • Text colours chosen to meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio.

Known limitations

  • Some of our case studies are PDF documents. They may not be fully accessible to screen readers.
  • Some pages embed videos, and not every video has captions or a transcript yet.
  • Third-party content that we do not control, such as the cookie consent banner and embedded YouTube videos, may not meet every requirement.

If any of this stops you from using something on the site, please tell us and we will provide the information in another way.
